He came to Lewis County in 1803. He has held offices of Assessor and others. In 1814 he married Nancy daughter of Joseph and Nellie Van Ingen of Schenectady New York. They had seven children, three whom are living Philander V., Margaret and Maria LaFave, Joseph B Joseph B LaFave, P O Belfort was proprietor of a saw and shingle mill. He had 2000 acres of land. He was born in Leroy,, Jefferson County, NY in 1853 the son of Alfred LaFlave. He settled in Lewis County on Feb 20, 1882. He married in 1881 his wife Maggie daughter of James Burns. L'huillier, Christopher Christopher L'huillier, PO Beaver Falls, He was a farmer. Christopher was born in France November 18, 1832 and came to this country in 1847.
