    2. Chamberlain, Orren Orren Chamberlain was Born in Vermont in 1817. He \ settled in Lewis County in 1838, He is a farmer in Barnes Corners with 265 acres of land.He has been postmaster. His Wife is, Manilla Tyler of Leyden, Lewis County Born in 1815. The couple married in 1840. They had six children, Jane F, Mary A., Lucy M., Newton D., Orren F. and Franklin N. who died 10 Mar 1876, at age 23. Parents of Orren were Syvanus and Ora Burnett Chamberlain of Vermont. They had ten children. They came to Lewis County in 1839, but later returned to Vermont. He settled in Barnes Corners, Lewis County in 1867. Dr Fowdrey was graduated from the Michigan University in 1861 and served in his profession with great credit during the last war (Civil), both in land and navy service. He married his wife, Adeline Hoselton in 1866. The couple had one child, David Fowdrey Jr. The parents of Dr Fowdrey were Daniel Fowdrey, born in Oxford, England in 1810 and came to the US and settled in Jefferson Co., in 1831 with his wife, Susan Fox born in Oxford, England in 1811 Source: History of Lewis County 1883 Marilley, Edward M. Edward Marilley PO was Croghan, NY. He was a dealer in general merchandise. Edward was born in Switzerland on Aug. 17 1847 to Joseph and Cecil Marilley. The family settled in Lewis County in 1852. On May 8 1878 he married Katie Banahan, daughter of Patrick Banahan. The couple had three children, Claire, Alfred and Anna.
