Hello, Does anyone on the list have any information on Allen PARKER? He was born in 1800, married Louisa PECK in 1829 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Lewis, NY. Children were: Henry, Alvira, Eliza Ann, Mary Jane, Sylvia Melissa, Permelia, Charles, and John Jay. Henry PARKER married Almina TUTTLE, widow of Carlos J. THOMAS. Alvira married John KELSEY. Eliza Ann married first Cornelius SIMMONS, then after his death,; his brother George SIMMONS. They lived in Windecker. Melissa married William GOUTREMOUT. Permelia married Job GREEN. Jane married Christopher Cornelius GALLOWAY. Charles and Jay move to Wisconsin, marrying in that area. Louisa Peck Parker died shortly after John Jay's birth in 1847, and Allen Parker married, second,, Eliza Ann (Bristol) STODDARD, widow of Richard Stoddard of Pinckney, who had two sons: Wayne and Jay. Allen PARKER and Eliza had the following children: Sarah Ann, Allen, junior, Ida Irene, Carson and Willie. Carson and Willie died young. Sarah Ann married John LASHER. Irene married Edward VARY. Allen, junior married Jane TERRILL. Allen Parker was a farmer in the Town of Harrisburgh until his death in 1882. The farm went to his son Allen, jr., who had two sons, Clarence and George. Clarence lived in Syracuse at the time of his father's death. I am trying to discover the parents and siblings of Allen PARKER, Sr. I believe that his father's name could have been William and that he had numerous brothers and sisters, among them Wells Parker, born 1819 in Lewis County, died 1893 in Michigan. Many of the above surnames remain in the Harrisburg/Lowville area today. I hope some of them have information which could help. Any help with this Parker family will be appreciated. Jean
