Hi Ken Have you ever gone to the NY State Newspaper Project? http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/nysnp/ Select Counties and you will note that LEWIS is listed and there you will find all the Journal & Republic Newspapers by year and the film numbers. These are available by interlibrary loan and you could view them at your local Library near your home. Your Library no doubt has a viewer.
