Greetings All A friend in England sent me a CD a few weeks ago that was a history of the town of Dursley. The town has also just created its first calendar for 2003 that depicts historic buildings, photos of the countryside, etc. With all of the talent in Lewis County and its emigrants, would it not seem like an acceptable idea to create a history of Lewis County that shows some of the key elements of the two Hough Lewis county history books, old pictures, current photos, and perhaps the family trees of key county and individual county founders? Just an idea that would fit well into the domain of the Lewis County Historical Society or any group of interested individuals. What might your reactions be? Add any additional ideas and thoughts?
