    3. Hi, again, Heather...... The book title interested me so I checked it on-line. I see that Priscilla (Selina Winnicott) Hosking married Rev. Henry Hilson Budge. There were 6 children mentioned, including a daughter, Priscilla, and a son, Henry. --so there are two with the name Priscilla Budge? Probably the historian for Greig could give you information. 3. Heather I checked the listing for the Sands Cemetery and do not see a "Budge" listed. In a book by Charles A. Gray ("A History of Brantingham", 2007) there is complete information on cemeteries in that region only --not Port Leyden. My ancestors lived in that area. When/if I visit up there this summer as in other years, I will keep in mind the name Priscilla (Hosking) Budge. Don't give up. Good luck. 3. Hello Mary, Thank you so much for getting in touch with concerning Priscilla's grave site. I am not a 100% sure but I think the cemetery is Sand cemetery, a few years ago a lovely lady got in touch and I think she said that was where Priscilla was buried. There was a lot of publicity at Priscilla as her husband was Rev Henry Budge who was accused and twice acquitted of her murder, and I believe that this all took place in Greig from the information I have in the book about Henry's trial.(The Greig affair - An 1859 Tragedy) This would be great if you could take a look while on you travels, but please don't go out of your way. Mary on your second email you suggest that the above site might help, but you have not given any site address? Many thanks & best wishes Heather

    3. Hello Merry, Thank you so much for taking the time to contact me, it is truly appreciated. Also thank you for the RAOGK, I have just taken a look at the wonderful site, but sadly the volunteer for Lewis County only does look ups for obituaries. As I live in England there is no possibility of doing this myself. Priscilla was the wife of Rev Henry Budge who was accused and twice acquitted of her murder in 1859. Thank you once again. Best wishes Heather

    1. [NYLEWIS] ROBINS or ROBBINS Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Inez ROBINS which was taken at the Frank Z. Fritz Studio in Lambertville, New Jersey. The photograph indicates that Inez was 13 years old when the photograph was taken, likely sometime in the 1880's. In addition to her name and age, someone has written "school friend of Margaret FELL" on the front of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information: Inez Grinnell ROBBINS b. 8 Nov 1870 in Clinton, NJ to parents William Delaun ROBBINS (b, 8 Dec 1838 in Copenhagen, NY) and Amelia "Millie" MISNER (b. 1844). Inez married Herbert Latham FORDHAM (b. 23 Nov 1869 in Greenport, NY) on 21 Jun 1900. I do not believe that Inez and Herbert had any children. Census records provide the following information: 1880 census of Clinton, NJ: W. D. L. ROBBINS, age 41, a Teacher, born NY, parents born MA/NY Amelia M. ROBBINS, wife, age 36, Keeping House, born NY, parents born NY Inez G. ROBBINS, dau, age 9, born NJ + 1 servant + 1 boarder 1920 census of Greenport, NY: Herbert FORDHAM, age 50, born NY, parents born NY, a Lawyer Inez FORDHAM, wife, age 49, born NJ, parents born NY + a Maid I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
