I have the filled in "Preliminary Population Schedule" for the Max Krevoff family who lived on Bay Parkway in Brooklyn in 1940. This form was given to families that were not at home when the census taker initially came. They filled it out, and then the census taker picked it up later. These "absentee" people were placed starting on page 61 of the 1940 census. The Krevoff family appears on page 62A of 24-1679 ED for 1940. The interesting thing about the preliminary form is that it contains the supplementary questions/answers.... although the family on the "official" form does not fall on the lines that would generate such responses. If you are a member of this family, contact me about getting this form. There is no Krevoff family board or else I would have posted this there.
