My father kept four photographs of himself with some unidentified relatives in Brooklyn in the early 1940s. He was temporarily staying with them before shipping to England (World War II). I've made an educated guess about the identity of the relatives, but have not yet been able to confirm. The relatives with whom my father stayed I believe lived at 1531 Gates Avenue (near where Myrtle crosses Gates) in Brooklyn. I have no idea what the street looks like now, but would anyone be able to view the photos and tell me whether the street in the background was in the vicinity of 1531 Gates? Jim
