Listed as their destination on one or more occassions was 107 Navy Street, Brooklyn. Among my grandparent's belongings was an envelop marked, "Bank Italiana, Carmine Lemmo, 107 Navy Street, Brooklyn." It included an image of a ship as well as Carmine Lemmo's picture, I would assume. In a 1902 newpaper article I found that Carmine Lemmo, a banker, had been stabbed outside of his home at 107 Navy Street. He died of his wounds. I am wondering if there are any others who have found their relatives coming from Italy to join individuals with 107 Navy Street listed as the address. Perhaps Carmine was funding their journies.
