I know my grandfathers mothers name was Johanna Lipple (maybe madden name or previous marriage) or Grandner. My grandfather came over from Germany when he was 10 yrs old with brother and sister..Grandfather was born in Nov 1889. not sure the date when they left Germany and arrived in NY. I only know that he and his brother left NY on the freight trains and ended up in St Paul MN .. worked at the stock yards....There are Grandners all over the east coast but not sure how they are all related....
