Catherine Barbara Hussennetter (b.1860) married Emil Carl Wieher (b.1859) in Brooklyn in 1881. Catherine's parents are Henry Hussennetter and Annie Dressler or Irena S. Distler. Emil's parents are Johann Heinrich Christian Wieher and Friederike Higen of Hanover, Germany. Henry and Annie had at least 6 children: Thomas, George, Jane, Catherine, William, Ann. I believe their descendants either stayed in New York or moved to Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Emil Wieher and his wife Catherine moved to Boston by 1900. There are many spelling variations of Wieher: Wehr, Weiher, Wiehe, etc. I'm trying find out more information about Emil Wieher: specifically, does he have siblings? And, I'm trying to track down any pre-1900 US census records showing him living in New York. Would love to hear from anyone that has any info on Hussennetter as well. Thanks!
