Hi everybody- I would like to STRONGLY encourage everyone who is part of the list to volunteer at: http://www.familysearchindexing.org/home.jsf and choose to index batches from the 1892 Brooklyn Census Project. Just today, I downloaded the software and indexed 100 records. It was incredible fun and easy! If we all contribute, the project can get done sooner than later. I would guess that when we get it done, it would be added to the pilot.familysearch.org database. I see Philadelphia's birth records posted there already so they must be done. They give you everything you need to perform the indexing. A quick download of the free software and then a download of your first batch from the 1892 Census and you are off an running. the software is both mac and PC compatible. What are great tools this will be for those of us with relatives in Brooklyn. Finally a real useful 1890 Federal Census substitute. Best wishes. Phil
