A good idea from her...families are often in the same places...so if you find one person, you should contact the cemetery. I found 12 people in my family that way that I did not know about--I asked for info about one person and found 11 other people buried there who were all relatives...it filled in a lot of gaps Also, I have done a lot of research in the NY area (I am not IN NY though) so can help you find resources... You can email me at the name I post under here using AOL as my ISP...be sure to write genealogy help or something like that so I don't accidentally delete it as SPAM....I have a ton of resources I can pass on to you, but better/easier by email to do that I wish you luck...it is not easy finding needles...
