My Charles Marks was born in 1864; was married to Frieda (Fredecka) Tritschler. They lived in Brooklyn and to my knowledge only had two children; Herbert Charles Marks (1891) and Ceclia Marks (1889); I don't know if he would be the person you are looking for.
