I mean how many teeth would they even have LOL... I wonder if a bad case of thrush might cause the same thing...thrush is very common in babies...infections of many types were rampant in the slums... Remember too in 1888 medicine wasn't what it is now...so I would not get too excited about things that don't make sense to us now...
