Siblings were the late Rev. John J. Melvin-Templeboy Co. Sligo, Anne Boyle-Burtonport Co. Donegal, emigrants Patrick John Melvin-Clinton Iowa, the late Rev. James Melvin-Oakland Calif., Sarah Kane/Keane-Seattle. There are several possible older 'Mary McHughs b. Ireland' in 1910 NYC census. This Mary Melvin was born mid-1800's near Ballina, County Mayo or former County Sligo Moy River area. Their parents were Patrick Melvin and Bridget McHale.
