It left Grenier Field, NH on a ferry mission and disappeared near it's destination Gander, Newfoundland about 0200 hours 14 Feb 1945. The plane was seen by Gander personnel and picked up by it's radar. The Missing Air Crew report, number 12013, gives cause as "unknown."
