I just called there and they gave me all the info I wanted on the phone: headstone status, who is buried there in the same plot, when they died, how old they were, and who the plot owner was. Have they said anything about you signing an affadavit and then they would give you a duplicate deed? You should ask them. See if they will negotiate with you on the perpetual care funds. But they probably won't let you put a stone there until the perpetual care is settled. My cousin had the same thing at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City, NJ. He did do the deed thing, though.
