Did you ever get any info on the murder of Arthur Huttick? My grandfather George Sigalas passed away in 2004 at the age of '97. He lived in Hell's Kitchen from 1908-1944. I took down his autobiography, and he mentioned his friend "Artie Huddock"--his spelling. He wrote: "Artie Huddock was the Golden Glove light heavyweight champion of 1930(?)[the questionmark was Grandpa's] He got stabbed to death by two sailors. He tried to help a young girl being abused by the sailors. He had just started fighting pro." I haven't found any boxer by the name of Huddock...I'm assuming it's the same murdered boxer.
