It could have been Manhattan. That is where the Twomeys lived when they first came to US. Her mother (Ellen Cronin Twomey) died in 1896 and a young brother died in 1892 while they were living at 319 E. 54th St. I've checked with St. Pat's and St John the Evangelist at 348 E. 55th St. close to where they lived. No record was found. The youngest daughter lived with an aunt and uncle - John and Mary Cronin Hayes on E54th St 1900 and Park Ave 1910. The Twomey's are very perplexing - the birth certificates for the daughters that were born in the US have not been found - Gertrude, Norah and Agnes. I haven't look for the birth of her brother John.
