Assuming, of course, that this year is correct, it pushes the search for Kay and her parents into an entirely different time frame. Your post doesn't explicitly state what you are looking for...do you want to confirm her parents names? If so, you might try writing the church in which her funeral was held for a copy of her death entry in their church books. It is listed in the obit as St. Malachy's R. C. Church, 239 W. 49th St. Be sure to ask where she is buried; there is a chance that she may have been buried with her parents if they also died in the NYC area. By the way, in googling "Kay Medford", I did run across one bio that had her birth name as "Maggie O'Regin", born of 1st generation Irish parents.
