According to family information, my great grandfather, Magnus Christianson, died in a mental hospital in Brooklyn in a fire in the 1950's (death date 7/21/1951). I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding this fire. I don't have access to any Brooklyn newspapers, and while eventually I'm sure I will be able to find a source for the appropriate newspapers, I am impatient and would like to find out more now!
