The website you linked me to is terrific! Looking more carefully at the kids in the photo, I believe they appear to be junior high school age rather than high school age. That would put the date of the photo at 1913 or 1914. I should also mention that one of the boys is African-American. Was there much of a black population in East New York at that time?
