NYC does not have a record of their marriage. So now I am looking into Marriage Licenses. I read this morning in some older e-mails that the licenses at the Muncipal Archives are indexed by letters - A names, B names etc. >From an e-mail dtd 15 Jun 2002 it said "if you ask, behind the counter they keep the "Marriage License" index for Brooklyn. Is this still correct? aAre they indexed for 1910-1913? I also read that for records 1908- May 12, 1943 you can write to the City Clerk's office where the bride lived.
