I apologize if you felt I brushed you off about the suggestion to try Transfiguration. It certainly wasn't intentional. I think I got Transfiguration and another church mixed up. I will write to them. I checked on the Family History Wiki for Brooklyn and couldn't find a film for the marriage licenses. I also called the Marriage Unit at the City Clerk's Office in Brooklyn and they referred me to NYC. One piece of good news. Thanks to alot of work by volunteers, I found listings on the Brooklyn Genealogy web site for "marriage Licenses" for various years in The Brooklyn Daily Eagle and Brooklyn Standard Union. I had checked previously for Catherine and Joe but they weren't there. I checked the names against the marriage certificates on the Italian Gen Website and the date of the marriages are after the date the listings appeared in the paper. So that means I can eliminate many months. I will have to plan a trip "down south" - I live in Maine but still have family in the New York area. Thank you again for your help and guidance.
