Giacomo was born on Jan. 28, 1872 in Augri, Italy. His wife, Gaetana's, maiden name is unknown. Giacomo Galizia immigrated to New York from Naples, Italy on Apr. 3, 1906. His chidren were: Silvia ( b. Dec. 17, 1897 in Italy ), Filomena ( b. July, 7, 1905 in Italy ), and Giacomo ( a.k.a. James ), ( b. May 20, 1913 in Brooklyn, N.Y. ). Giacomo may have changed his name. He was naturalized on Dec. 1, 1920 in N.Y. and at that time, he was living at 201 Fourth Avenue in Brooklyn, N.Y. He may have had a brother, named Giovanni Galizia.
