Do check out rootsweb for the Fayette county posting site. I was checking For relatives in that area, (don't live anywhere even close to there) and found the Fayette Website group very, very helpful. I ordered records from the county office, and again- I thought there records were terrific. I did not have success with LDS records, rather the assistance, newspaper clippings, census, Etc.
