IHi Listers: have been collecting info on "the Tonry's" of NY. I have had some success so far but my own Grandfathers marriage has been a brick wall. He was Edward Francis Tonry married to Teresa ( Theresa) J.Langan on 24 July 1892. I have contacted St. Peter and Paul's in Brooklyn, they said they have no record. All 7 children were baptized at St. Peter's on Warren Street. James 1893, Edward 1894, John 1896, Loretta 1898, William 1900 died at 3 months, Celcila 1901, Walter 1906.
