Father= Friedrich Koehler Mother= Caroline Rieker.They married in Manhattan December 6, 1890. Witnesses= Wilhelm Koehler and Mrs. Nellie Yere. Henry died in Brooklyn-1940-certificate number 5314: Henry Uhrig, married, wife Minnie, residence 56 Walworth street, baker, in US 60 years, in Ny City 50 years, born in Germany July 13, 1853. Father= Henry, born in Germany Mother= Bertha Coehler, born in Germany. Died at Prospect Heights Hospital March 4, 1940. Cause= cerebral hemmorhage with senility and arteriosclerotic heart disease. Informant was wife Minnie. Buried in Lutheran Cemetery March 8th. (You can see that Minnie did not remember his parents names. I assume the names he gave to the clerk on his marriage certificate are correct)) Minnie died in Brooklyn-1948-certificate number 1021: Minia Uhrih, residence 56 Walworth street, in NY City 45 years, widow of Henry. Born February 4, 1867 in Germany. Father= Frederick Koehler, born in Germany Mother= Caroline Riecker, born in Germany. Died at home of natural causes on January 12, 1948.
