You can narrow the search somewhat by entering the start and stop years. Also try first in Kings County only, then branch out from there as well. It may take some time, but you may find them that way. Spelling can be WAY off from what you think. Second, try searching the on-line records at Brooklyn cemeteries. I usually will search Green-wood Cemetery first, then branch out from there. I have found many ancestors this way, then worked back to find their D/C or B/C. Hope that helps. Didn't you basically need a death certificate to have someone buried or cremated, even back then? I have been unable to pin down either birth or death certificates for them. I find that very strange.
