I am looking for my paternal grandmother who, I believe, may have been born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, in 1920. Her father's name is Carmine Natale who was born in Italy in 1892, emigrating around 1912. Virginia Natale appears in the 1930 Federal Census, living with her family in Long Island City, Queens, NY, at the age of 10. She gave birth to a Nicholas Anthony Natale in Long Island City, in 1938. His birth certificate cites only his mother, no father. This is where the trail goes cold for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have you searched the date at Brooklyn Daily Eagle on-line? You may find a marriage listing the bride's name there. May be a much quicker way to go. Hope that helps.
