Their daughter, Hanna O'Shea, who married my grgrandfather, Harry Paul Regan, became Anna Josephine Regan. The Regans, along with some of the O'Shea siblings and cousins, lived in Manhattan for many years, then in Brookly and Queens also. I also find that my grgrandmother's sister, Katie O'Shea, came over to stay with an aunt named O'Connor, who lived in Jersey City, NJ. Not sure if there could be a connection, with some of the Doyles coming over that I am not yet aware of. If anything connects, please email me at HikeNFish@comcast.net Thanks! Hello, I have just joined this List. I am trying to find out if there are any descendants of John B. HUTCHINSON and his 2 married sisters, still living in Brooklyn, or in Kings County. I am trying to find out more specifically if there are any male descendants still living - who would be descended from Thomas and Betsey (HOMER) HUTCHFINSON living on the large HUTCHINSON Farm in Winchester, MA. The 2 married sisters were: William and Elizabeth DODGE and Gardner and Adeline SYMMES, who might have arrived in Brooklyn, first. The 3 couples seem to have been merchants or wholesale dealers in Brooklyn for most of the 1850 to 1900 timeframe. I can find some information about the couples in census information, but only from 1860 to 1880. There could have been 2 sons of John still living in Brooklyn in 1900: Edward and Effie HUTCHINSON, with a son, John B., Age 20. And, possibly John W. and Gertrude HUTCHINSON. (I don't know if they had children.) John and Ruthy (WYMAN) HUTCHINSON were 65 and 64 and were alive in the 1880 census. (I sure wish the 1890 census was available.) I cannot find them in the 1900 census. I suppose they could have died during the 1890's. Thank you for your time. Betty (near Lowell, MA) FYI: I've belonged to the Brooklyn List for at least 4 years. I have posted queries there on this family, and about my EX's extended family which lived in the Bay Ridge neighborhood from about 1900 to about 1970. 723 59th Street, Brooklyn FREDERICKS and McCARTHY couple

You need to tell them the Title and film # of the film which would have the certificate. You find that on the familysearch.org site (in the Library Catalog). In this case, the certificate for Mary should be on the following film: Title: Brooklyn Death certificates, 1919-1949 FHL Film # 2167940 (This film has certs. #11650-13390 4-30 June 1947 ) You can download and print out the form for this request from the familysearch.org site. On the Home Page see where it says "forms, maps and guides" on upper right - click on forms. On the page that appears, scroll down to where it says - "Request for photocopies - census, books, microfilms ..." This is form @ 31768 . After you download and print this out, fill it out with the needed info - with the certificate # being put in all the way on the right (where it says registration no.). It will cost $4.00 (cert. copies are $2 each, minimum $4 per order). Send a Money Order, not a check. It will go much faster that way. It should take 10 - 15 days. I did this a few times last year, so hopefully it's not a longer wait this year. The m/o should be made payabe to the Family and Church History Dept. You must send this order directly to Salt Lake City at the address given on the form. Do not try to place the order at your local FHC, they cannot take your money for this order or process it. Hope I made myself clear, my eye condition is acting up today, but you can check the film # in the Library catalog on the site if you want. Hope this helps you.
