This is great news. I can't understand why the clerk at the cemetery told me that Karen wasn't in that plot. I only had 2 death cert., those for Anton Aamot (father) and Gertrude Kohl (daughter). If you return there again, would a picture be possible? Thank-you very much, Carol Taravella Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Despite have quite good information in order to start a search , I cannot find a thing! There does not seem to be a database for BMD records alone?? My GG grandparents emigrated to USA in 1853, and arrived in New York on 17th June 1853. Twelve days later, on the 29th June 1853 they married in Brooklyn USA. His name was Robert Linkstone, and his wife was Isabella McKechnie. I have not a clue where to start looking for that marriage record, because I cannot find a database for marriages in that period or place? Nor where they lived during the 7 years they were living in America. Where does one start to look? I also know that they had 4 girls whilst living in America, 2 of whom I know were born in Vermont. Their names were, Janet,Mary,Cathrine, and Christina Linkstone. All were born between 1853 and including 1859. Where would one look to find their birth registrations? In 1860 Robert and Isabella with the 4 children born in the States, returned to their original home in Linlithgow West Lothian Scotland, I know the year, because she had another child born in 1860 in Linlithgow. I would also like to know where to search in order to find the passenger list, or any other records relating to their return journey back to Scotland. (I have the passenger list for the journey to New York. I have been able to follow their lives from birth to death, but this period from 1853 to 1860 has been a real brick wall, and I thought upgrading my subscription giving me access to World document would solve the problem, but I just can't find the correct place to look. I would be so very grateful for anyones help with this. Thank You Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Daniel and Jane were known to be alive and living on Schenck St as late as 1889. Jane reappears as Daniel's widow in a Brooklyn directory, 1897 so Daniel must have died between 1889 and 1897. Don't know about Jane after 1897, sorry to say. Once again, thanks! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. You obviously have some info on the family and probably more that is not here. A quick glance at the 1910 census shows Patrick and Annie, with newly born John, living with Annie's parents on Seventh St. Do you have this? By 1920, Patrick & Annie have a large enough house on Third St. to have 7 boarders, their own 5 children and Annie's father and brother George. What exactly are you looking for? Amelia emigrated from Germany in the late 1880's with her two sons from her first marriage, George & John Von Rhein in the late 1880's to Kings County. Rudolph emigrated a few years earlier.
