My ancestor John Kraft was listed in the 1860 Census for New York City in the 17th Ward 7th District. According to the 1855 State Census this area was 1st Ave-14th St and Ave B -10th St. I do not know his actual address in 1860. Trying to locate some church records for his marriage around 1855 would anyone know what Roman Catholic churches were in that area circa 1855? He married Louisa Gunther but hoping church records may list village in Baden he was from. Did the 1855 State Census show an address or just the Ward and District like the 1860 Census?
