I agree with you.  Sometime I'd just like to see what records are available at the FHLibrary.  Not everything is on line and we still have to order films.  It seems as if this is going to be missing on their new website. I did plenty of searching at the NYS archives and library, but I have very little to show for it. There is no possible marriage record in the index for any couple Laun/ and any name I could think of starting "Sas" (records are soundex). Also no marriage for any Mabel or Louisa Laun to any man. I checked 1907-1917. I tried to trace Anthony and Mabel from the Ozone Park address you had (which seemed like the most recent), but unfortunately all I had available to me in Albany was Queens phone books as the library does not have directories. Throughout the years I spot-checked (1938-1961) there was no Anthony or Mabel Sasser. There were as many as 3 different men named Anthony Sasso, but no other Anthony with a surname starting Sass. With the first name Mabel, there was only a Mrs. Mabel Sasso in Flushing 1959-1961, but her address could not be associated with any of the Anthonys, so no help there. I ran out of time for further searching, but I will look again on my next trip in a couple of weeks. Mary Anne Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
