To use that tool you will need the cross street, so first visit that link I gave you for the 1907 Diectory.... Go to the back of the directory and you wll find all the Streets of Brooklyn listed. Look up Schermerhorn and find the cross street(s) nearest #64 Schermerhorn. Then go to the link for the search tool that I mentioned... first choose "1905"... then choose the street "Schermerhorn" ... then choose the cross street. That should provide you with the correct AD/ED for 64 Schernerhorn in the 1905 Census. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [NYKINGS] 1900 Census Help From: "[1][email protected]" <[2][email protected]> Date: Mon, April 23, 2012 4:10 pm To: <[3][email protected]> This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. The following search tool should work: [1]http://www.stevemorse.org/nyc/nyc.php If not you mighy consider searching a city directory for people who lived close to that address and then search for those persons in the census. If nobody volunteers for the look-up, you might want to order those certificates by mail through the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. They charge $2. a piece, whereas even in person at the NY Municipal Archives the certificates cost $15, plus the $5. fee you'll need to rent a machine. For instructions on ordering those certificates go to: [1]http://nycnuts.net/genealogy/obtaining_records/index.html -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [NYKINGS] Municipal Archives Look-up From: "[2][email protected]" <[3][email protected]> Date: Sun, April 22, 2012 2:51 pm To: <[4][email protected]> This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
