Familysearch.org and germangenealogygroup.com would be two places to start your search. You have several variations of her name so try all of those in your search engines. Also if you know where she is buried, search findagrave.com for possible matches, or call the cemetery directly and inquire about any information they may have. Another helpful site is fultonhistory.com and Brooklyn Daily Eagle newspaper on-line (http://eagle.brooklynpubliclibrary.org/Default/Skins/BEagle/Client.asp?Skin=BEagle). Again, entering variations of the name as well as the address, if known. Hope that helps. Catherine Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Looking for some information on an Emilia Plastino. She married a Joseph Plastino and is buried in St Johns Cemetery in Queens New York. She was married to Antonio Paterno and had two kids with him. Antonio moved to Kanawha County West Virginia with their two daughters and I guess she didn't want to go. I have very little information on her I don't even know when she was born or when she died. Her first husband was born anout 1882 in Italy. Her daughter Gencie Lousie Paterno was born 1905 in Italy. What I hear in my family is that they believe her maiden name was Farbo but not sure on that. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. It might be helpful in figuring out where people's baptism and marriage records are. All those records are kept at the parish level unless the parish is completely closed--then the records are with the diocesan archives. If the parish merged with another parish, the records are in the new parish. Sorry the link is so long. http://dioceseofbrooklyn.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/chronological_list_brooklyn_parish_school_2012.pdf Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There are some records with the Maddaloni spelling. Good to know that spelling for ordering death certificates though. Do you know how early birth records are available? And where did you get that number for the death certificate? I tried searching both ancestry and family search but no birth or death records are listed. Thanks in advance, Juliet Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
