Former Burnett Resident Called By Death Mrs. Ermina Mayhew, widow of the late George B. Mayhew and a resident of Burnett up to two years ago, passed away in death at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. Sellick, at Berryville, Arkansas, Wednesday, October 20th, at the age of 69 years. Death was due to a stroke of apoplexy. The deceased was born at Burnett on January 27th, 1857, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ames. She had made her home there continuously since with the exception of the past two years which have been spent at Madison and Oshkosh in this state and at Berryville, where she passed away. Besides her daughter, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. R. C. Quick and Miss Jennie Ames of Oshkosh and Mrs. Kate Lathrop of Juneau. Funeral services were held at Burnett on Saturday morning with interment in the Burnett cemetery. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
