I wish I could be more precise. Susan Baker and John Baker were the names of 2 of their 6 children. Susan was born Jan 12, 1840 in Sackets Harbor according to her obit. John was born June 17, 1825 or 1826. Susan and her mother, A. Baker was listed in the 1850 Wisconsin census. Her father was not listed so I am assuming that he died in New York. John had already migrated to Wisconsin from New York by this time. I was hoping that this scenario would be familiar to other families searching the Baker name.
