The most recent additions that contributed to this milestone are listed at the end of this message and can be viewed on the site at: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ny/county/jefferson/ppp/ The Pioneer Portraits Project started seven years ago as a central place to find images of the earliest residents of Jefferson County, those living in or prior to 1865. The site began with sketches from 19th-century history books, and quickly grew as people donated pictures from their own families to the project. The site currently has 1,012 pictures and counting. I'd like to thank everyone who has made this project a success!
