Both William and Amanda were deceased by the 1870 Census. What I was interested in was that a sister of my 5th gr. grandfather, Benevolence Maples, was living with the Tracy's in the 1850 IL census. I was trying to determine if Amanda was another of her daughters. It appears that Amanda Tracy was not her daughter and therefore I do not know why Benevolence was living with the Tracy family.
