    1. [NYJEFFER] Edward Herrick of Rodman, Jefferson Co., NY, 1810 census

    3. Can anyone find more information on this Edward Herrick? The 1810 census for Rodman shows him with two males under 10, one male 45 and over, two females 10-16, one female 16-26, and one female 26-45. I would like to learn the names of Edward's wife, and children, and what happened to all of them. I believe he might be the Edward Herrick, born in 1761 in Preston, CT to Ebenezer and Esther (Braman) Herrick, and is in the 1791 census for Poultney, Rutland Co., VT with one male under 16, one male 16 and over, two females. Also in Poultney in 1800 with one male 26-45, four females under 10, two females 10-16 and one female 26-45. I also believe that one of the above Edward's sons was Edward born 5 June 1805 and died 16 Oct. 1857. This Edward married Almira Thurston about 1835. They had eight children: Delos, Reuben, Angeline R., Hannah, Mary, Josephine, William and Emogene. They lived in various towns in Jefferson County, Theresa, Alexandria. I have a little more information on this family, but would like to learn more, if possible. Thanks for any help you can give me. Joann Nichols
