Florence, Linda & Marilyn, I would be interested in learning more about the Babcock's of Henderson and Adams. A sister of my great-great-grandmother Lydia A. (Kennedy) Stokes (1856-1936) of Henderson married Eugene Babcock of Adams -- I think her name was Nell or Linna, not sure. I have a newspaper clipping about a Kennedy Family Reunion held at the Babock home in Adams Centre in 1917, as well as some family photographs I think were taken at the event, posted on my website. The only Babcock I have any information on is Ora Babcock. He married a family member, Catherine DeRosier, of Alexandria. I do not know who his parents were. They married, I asume, in Jeff county and then moved the family to Scriba, NY, in Oswego county. I think he was killed in a train accident. I'd have to look in my files for the correct date. His widow then went to live with their daughter in Fulton, NY, where she died in 1919.
