Butts who was an artist and musician, who painted very realistic decorative murals in the Whitney Point Episcopal Church in 1872. Could he be the same? I would like to know more about him. Supposedly he went door to door collecting unused instruments and got up a community orchestra. The murals are beautiful...they look like ornate 3D wood trim.
