Here are 2 websites that have info on them. You will have to sort the info as I think there are other Belchers in the same area. They may be related. www.fultonhistory.com search in quotes "Thomas Belcher" #38 article about wife, Susan "Joseph Belcher" "Joseph W Belcher" Obit for Agnes(?? Ist wife of Joseph" Obit for him "John E Belcher" Obit "Sarah Belcher" Obit #5 (1916) #15 marriage "Gilbert Cardwell" Article about his death in 1901 Most articles are in the Watertown papers. ___________________________________________________________ http://news.nnyln.net/ Click on Jefferson County and search in quotes "Thomas Belcher" "John E Belcher" "John Belcher" __________________________________________________________ These are only a few names I tried so try your other names, too. ___________________________________________________________ On the obit for Sarah Belcher Cardwell her daughter's name is Catherine Baker which is different from the name on her brothers'obits(Catherine Danielson). She probably was married twice. ___________________________________________________________ There is also an article on a James and Esther Belcher. Both born in England. Perhaps he could be a brother to Joseph. They seem to be the same age and both came to Canada and then to Watertown. Something to check out. May be no connection at all. If you search "James Belcher" on the fultonhistory site #34 tells a little about them. ___________________________________________________________ Kathy Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
