Hello All, Does anyone know where I might be able to locate membership information for the G.A.R. (Grand Army of the Republic) in Michigan? My great-great-grandfather Nathaniel PERKINS and his brother George Washington PERKINS, served in the 10th New York Heavy Artillery, made up of men from Jefferson County, New York. After the war, they settled in Saginaw and Genesee Counties, respectively, and continued their affiliations with the G.A.R's "A.L. CARVER" post somewhere in Michigan.
