Gerald, The Indian River falls are located in the village of Theresa, N.Y.. I was raised there and spent many hours swimming in the "Mill Pond". The Village was once known as "high Falls" and there was a Chair factoryand a silk mill that ran buy the water power from these falls, There was also a grist mill located just up river and ran from power taken from a smaller falls located there. There is now a dam and elec. plant owned by the village of Theresa which supplies the village with electic power. I could go on and on , but , don't want to wear out my welcome.
