Shirley, If you say there was an Ogden St. in 1954 then I'm sure you're right -- I saw it on a map for 1864, but when I mentioned it to a Sackets native recently I got a "huh?" response, so I figured it was a former name no longer in use. The Ogden St. I know of ran where Gen. Smith Drive is now, which crosses Main St. and runs in front of the Camp Estate and straight into the Barracks. Maybe I am mistaken as to its location and the one you describe is correct. I know the branch you describe is where Broad St. becomes Dodge Avenue out to Watertown (then Militray Rd. branches from that towards Brownville). Thanks for getting me to think more about this! Mark
