In the booklet "Harbor Walk: A Guide to the History & Architecture of Sackets Harbor" (available at the visitor center for $2) the Elisha Camp Mansion is profiled. Towards the end it says: "Not only does the house retain its original features and furnishings but also its original family, for today it is occupied by Elisha Camp descendant Mrs. Sydney Smith. In 1968 Ogden Street was re-named in memory of her husband, a distinguished World War II general and president of the Jefferson County Historical Society." So Ogden St. was in existence until 1968 when it was renamed General Smith Drive . . . . . -- Mark
