    3. Hi, I've been looking over the deeds I had copied when I was in Watertown, on a visit to the East last year and trying to figure out where the property was, based on a couple of the maps at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~legends/hounsfield-alhn.html . In 1847, Elisha Camp of Sackets Harbor and his wife Sophia sold this property to my 3G grandfather Edward Dolan of the town of Hounsfield. (He had been in the area since at least 1834). In May of 1855, the property was sold by Edward Dolan Sr., his wife Persis, and his son Edward Jr. to ? Ward of Hounsfield. From this description, can anyone tell me where this property was? "Situated in the town of Hounsfield- beginning at a point in the centre of the Adams road being the N.W. corner of land deeded by J. L. Ogden to D. Smith thence along the centre of the said road North twenty-six and one quarter degrees West eight chains and 10 links to a point 50 links westerly of a stone marked J. W. on the margin of the road thence along the South line of the Wallis farm S. E. to a stone marked J. W. S. thence South twelve and three quarters degrees West seven chains and 73 links to D. Smith's N. E. corner marked D. S. thence along Smith's line North eighty and three quarters degrees West 20 chains and 63 links to the beginning containing fifteen acres of land- the above land being part of the Ogden Estate at Sacketts Harbor and set off by the Chancellor to the said Camp."
